Sanso Essentiel is a mutual fund whose objective is to obtain an annualised return above that of the 50% MSCI World dividends reinvested +50% Capitalised EONIA composite index over a minimum investment period of five years by taking exposure to international equity markets.

The fund’s investment policy is based on active and discretionary management combining several performance drivers.

• Equities are selected on the basis of a quantitative approach without style, geographic or sector bias. They represent a minimum of 90% of the portfolio’s net assets.
• Complementary strategies are also implemented to expose the portfolio to specific themes. In total, these strategies are limited to 10% of the portfolio’s net assets.
• Management of exposure of the portfolio to equity risk is implemented by the use of derivatives in order to dynamically vary the exposure within a range of 70% to 130% of net assets. The approach implemented is systematic and contrarian in nature.

Sanso Essentiel’s benchmark is the 50% MSCI World dividends reinvested +50% Capitalised EONIA composite index. It can be used to assess the fund’s performance on an ex-post basis.
